My heart is pounding in my chest like a drum solo as I stare at the solid metal door. It's cold out there and the streetlights cast long, spooky shadows that make me feel even more alone. I can't believe this is happening to me! My keys are nowhere to be found, my phone battery is deader than a doornail, and I have absolutely no idea where else to go.
